“Vuma” is from a Kiswahil language and it means “ good gossip spread on the blowing wind” this camp therefore offers the needed ambiance and peace for one to listen to hear the gossip. It is easy to access and so attractive a camp. Its location is in a peaceful place and may take about 15 minutes from the entrance to Mikumi National park.

The camp has got 16 luxury tents and all of them have a double plus single bed, good bathroom, private veranda and all of them are tastefully decorated in colonial style. A round the small swimming pool are the set public areas with views over the Mizata river flood plains. The lodge is under the fox family management who have used their Africa experience to make it a relaxed, unpretentious camp with a feeling that it is a comfortable, warm and safe camp.

Vuma concentrates more on open topped 4*4 game drives. However taking a walk safari to the Kikoboga river or daily guided wildlige excursion and culture tours to the nearby villages are all possible game activities, but depending on the season.
