Seychelles is a country of beautiful islands in the Indian Ocean and has over the times proved to be among the top tourist destinations in the world. This is mainly attributed to the fact that the islands have got magnificent sand beaches, only comparable to those in the California. This natural gift of beauty together with the wonderful enviable tropical climate, the Seychelles become the epitome of travel and tour planners as well as all those going for honeymoon, anniversaries etc.

The Seychelles have continued to be a host of all peoples from all corners of the world and it is a country that contains people from all cultures who amazingly live in perfect harmony. This is a place where the phrase “unity in diversity” perfectly applies; different cultures put together for perfect harmony. Seychelles is regarded a world leader in tourism and all tourism projects must undergo government scrutiny and environmental assessment by consulting both the public and all the stakeholders. This shows how careful and committed they are because tourism is their main income earner. The Seychelles provide a perfect and natural arena of the environment and a great deal of natural features that every traveler would love to view and experience. Travelling to Seychelles can be arranged by the tour operators in the country of the traveler’s origin because of its attractiveness. Flights can connect you straight to the country’s main airport and you will be taken to all places of your choice by a couple of travel guides that are eagerly waiting to assist you. It’s that easy. The tour guides are also called ground handling operators or destination management companies and these are locals that a very familiar with the place and can bring out the best in you. Home of safari deals…

The tourism industry in the East African region is growing very fast and is being appreciated by the communities and the whole world of tourists. One of the aspects that is changing the tourism platform is that of eco-tourism. The eco-tourism setting in East Africa is in a way that the ecotourism clients are attracted by nature and the environment and they benefit from seeing the sights in the unspoilt wilderness. With the help of the local tour guides who are normally the natives of the area, the tourists can augment their appreciation and understanding of the traditional elements. Also tourists who wish to understand the local cultures can benefit a lot in the eco-tourism arrangement and will take all the time to find out about the cultures, history and the peoples’ way of life. The countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi have got a lot offer to the world of tourists and all those who love to study their ways of life.

Ecotourism offers the community great sources of revenue through guiding tourists and also by the locals selling their locally made products and food to the tourists. In Uganda for example, Bwindi impenetrable national park in the south west end provides ecotourism services by taking tourists around the sorrounding areas and this is enjyable for both the tourists and the locals who benefit a great deal. Tanzania has got a lot to offer especially on the slopes of Mt.Kilimanjaro, among the Chagga people and parts of Central Tanzania. It is indeed a true Africa travel experience to mingle with the local communities. This is the Africa travel safari at its best.

The big part of the country is tropical with temperatures ranging around 26 degrees Celsius during day and around 16 degrees Celsius at night. This is highly attributed to the fact that Uganda has a fairly constant altitude with mountains only in the east (the Elgon Mountains) and in the west (the Rwenzoris). However between December and February the temperatures are really high and can go up to 30C. Highlands are also generally cooler during nights. Uganda is crossed by the Equator. Uganda has got so many languages which correspond to the different people therein. Lake Kyoga separates the North from the South; with Nilotic people in the north towards Sudan and the Bantu people within the South East, South West and the Central part of the Country. Lewi General has built an 86-room facility, including stand-alone luxury bungalows, two swimming pools, four conference centers and boat facilities. The limited capacity and low quality of Ethiopia’s existing hotels has hindered efforts to attract higher numbers of tourists in the past. Despite the slow improvement in tourism infrastructure in the country, tourist numbers have been increasing in recent years and an estimated 400,000 tourists visited the country in 2008.

However, although Ethiopia has great natural and cultural assets, it must shed its image as politically unstable and plagued by poverty and famine if it hopes to attract far greater numbers of tourists.

The United Republic of Tanzania is an autonomous state in the Eastern region of Africa bordered by Kenya and Uganda to the north, Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo on the western side, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique on the southern border and then the Indian Ocean along the country’s eastern border. Tanzania is a member of the East African Community (EAC), together with Kenya, Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda. You probably have always wondered what language is the word “safari”! This is a word that comes from the East African Swahili language and it simply means “voyage”, “travel” or “journey”. This word however has got an Arab origin as is most of the other Kiswahili words.

From the earlier times around the 14th and 15th centuries when the Arab traders, ivory hunters and slave traders would travel extensively in the eastern and central parts of Africa, an expedition could sometimes be up to around 4200 people strong. In those days such an expedition was referred to as a “Safariya” and this was a major undertaking. The African safari is a journey into the mystifying, wild but romantic jungles of Africa. At the present time these words spike the mind’s eye, correlating with images of enormous herds of wildebeest (gnu), buffalo, the huge elephants and the beautiful zebra, herds of running Giraffes all booming across the vast green sweeping savannas, being hunted by the King Lion, fierce Leopard and the mighty hyena. It is pure magical in the increasingly present and glorious African brightness of the sun capturing the wonderful and thrilling imagination. Commencing the day you set under the wonderful African skies you will begin feeling the experience deep in the wilderness of our great and beautiful wild continent, you will absolutely fall in love with Africa aver and evermore. You will understand our passion for nature and the great life in the jungles. Some of the natural beauties in the heart of Africa are the verdant waterways of the great Okavango Delta in Botswana, which is also home to the mighty elephant herds of the Chobe and Linyanti; the blazing Namib Desert as well as the Skeleton Coast of Namibia. You will surely not miss the wonderful African bushveld of the Kruger National Park and then of course its game reserve neighbours of Mala Mala, Sabie Sabie and Timbavati in South Africa and many others! These are the playgrounds of the great herds and predators of Africa, true African Safari country. Have you heard of the booming roar of the Victoria Falls and the mighty Zambezi River? These great falls, just bordering Zambia and Zimbabwe are one of the features that you will surely not afford to miss. In East Africa, you will definitely want to feel the open savannah grasslands of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara in Tanzania and Kenya. Go for that safari on your hpneymoon.

With all arrangements and preparations done, what is remaining now are the travel arrangements, bookings and all the other plans of how you will spend your time while in South Africa.
Locally known as Madibaland, South Africa is ready to welcome the world and here we bring you some of the highlights that will spice up your arrangements for the World Cup down south.
Travel: Managing the cost of travel is paramount for everyone who intends to travel, especially if you are travelling for your first time. South Africa will receive an estimated 500,000 guests and so a delay in booking an air ticket; the most viable and quickest of all transport means, might leave so many fans gasping for breath in a queue at a travel agency if one were to make arrangements in the days preceding the event. South Africa being ahead of many other African countries economically, it has got a number of direct flights from many parts of the world. If South African Airways operates in your country, then life is that easy for, but only when you book in time. Remember you are not alone!

Emirates airlines, which happens to be the official FIFA partner for this tournament operates in the major cities in South Africa and connects to Dubai. This is rather and exciting journey via Dubai. Please note also that these flights may not go to the World Cup cities but once in South Africa, a number of travel and tour experts are all waiting to take you within the mainland. Africa Safaris and travels…

Attractions down South: South Africa has got a number of natural attractions that can give you an extra flavor of your stay in South Africa. The Drakensberg Mountains that stretch along the part of the Polokwane province will surely give a dramatic view of the rugged gorges, clear streams and nature forests. You may pack a picnic and spend a day in the shade of a cool tree in the forest as you wait for the next match.
The Polokwane Game Reserve is probably one of the finest attractions where you can cut your teeth if you are to maximize your fun and tourism in South Africa. The frequent sightings of the white rhino and other game animals will surely give you and exciting view that you will live to remember.
For train fanatics there is no better way to see the breathtaking vastness of South Africa’s landscape then by train. You can even go on a genuine steam train tour. Budget and luxury options are available, South Africa is ready for the world.

Getting your body prepared for pregnancy is one of the best decisions you possibly will make. Your body will be more prepared for the challenge of growing a baby and the experience will be a little easier on your body.

Travel to Tanzania…..

Every woman surely knows how important it is to eat well while you are pregnant. The benefit it provides you and your baby is important. But, do you also know how important it is to eat well even before you get pregnant? If you are actively trying to get pregnant you have to make sure your body is prepared to accept the challenge. The first thing you should do before even beginning to try is to talk to your doctor to see how you measure up health wise. Does he think you need to lose a few pounds before getting pregnant or does he feel you need to gain a few? Your doctor may recommend that you change your eating habits and start exercising.

Perhaps the most important thing you can do before you get pregnant is to cut out all alcohol. Community health workers and gynecologists have clearly advised that women who drink alcohol will most likely have a harder time getting pregnant than women who do not drink. Another reason why you should give up alcohol is that most birth imperfections that are caused by alcohol exposure usually occur in the first few weeks of pregnancy, usually before you can even know you are pregnant. As soon as you decide you want a baby, you should begin to get in the habit of eating healthier. Slowly begin to cut out caffeine. If you smoke, now is a good time to quit rather than waiting until you have that positive test. Smoking can decrease your fertility and increase your risk of a miscarriage if you are still smoking when you are pregnant.

Another thing you can do is to start taking prenatal or at least some multivitamin supplement that contains at least 400 micrograms of folic acid. You can also begin to add food into your diet that is rich in folic acid such as spinach and other green vegetables, peanuts, and orange juice. You can also start by taking a prenatal vitamin also. These vitamins contain iron, folic acid, and calcium along with vitamin C, D, B and vitamins B6 and B12 also.

Appraise your diet. Begin to eat foods that have plenty of vitamins, minerals and fiber. Lay off the fat and excess sugar. You want to eat foods that have a high nutrient density. Eat at least five portions a day of fruits and vegetables along with protein and iron rich foods like dried fruit, and green vegetables. Try to steer clear of raw fish like sushi, and steer clear of undercook shellfish, meat or chicken. You also want to try to avoid fish that has high mercury content like swordfish, shark, or king mackerel. Cut out any food that has unpasteurized milk in it including cheeses such as brie, camembert, and some Mexican cheese. Also cut out foods that have raw egg in it including homemade cookie dough. In all you do, make sure you augment your water intake and should always be your first drink choice before, after and during your pregnancy. Water helps to flush your system of toxins. Once you’ve gotten your eight glasses in, you can drink fruit and vegetable juices also.

Typically, it begins in the early hours with a morning wakeup call and then you begin to prepare for your first game drive of that day. A nice cup of hot African coffee accompanied by a light breakfast of some bit of toast will help chase away that lousy bit of drowsiness will make you feel great and much ready for the day.
You then set out for the best times for the game viewing which are normally early mornings just from before the daybreak onwards and then from the late afternoon up to sunset. The late afternoon drive is most times extensive, turning it into a rather night drive.
The safari begins when you get into the safari vehicle, habitually in a group of around 7 people, there is a lot of excitement and everyone is full of expectation. As you get into the jungle, the bushveld then becomes quiet, with a kind of stillness hanging within the air just before dawn. At this time nocturnal life is settling down, and the noise level subsiding, while daytime life is beginning to awaken with some early birds calling out with beautiful chants to welcome the lightening up of the blue skies.
At this time, you set off with a professional game ranger just at the back the steering wheel and a very well experienced tracker on his special seat up front way above the bull bar. Just between the two of these two men, they will make sure that your wildlife encounter is an exciting one, very safe and informative. travle guide
