Mwagusi Safari Camp
Located on the banks of the Mwgusi sand river Mwagusi safari camp is highly regarded luxury tented camp in Ruaha National park of Tanzania. It is believed to be one of the greatest wildlife concentrations.

A naturalist who loved being in the bush an in fact spent his childhood holidays on camping trips in the area before the park was formed, is believed to have set up this lodge. It is important to note that guiding at the lodge has become some of the best in East Africa, due to his teaching over the last 16 years. As far as Safari options are concerned, it should be realized that the camp concentrated more on walking safaris that includes interactions with an elephant which has come to know and respect the staff. However, driving in open-sided 4×4 is also possible.

The camp is an intimate lodge with only 8 tented rooms each with a superb view over the sand river. Mean while, this and river ensures a large variety game visiting throughout the year, because of the fact that the river never dries up completely.

Mdonya Old River Camp Tanzania

Mdonya old river camp is situated in the for North West of Ruaha National Park near the Mdonya falls. There is at least enough privacy and great views at the camp because, the 11 Safari tents that the camp has are spaced along the banks of the Mdonya sand river. The tents are just decorated and every tent has got both twins and doubles as well as open-air showers and private toilets.

Not only does Mdonya aim at the luxurious market, it also provides a real bush experience. With animals moving through the camp, simple tents and longer, no electricity and meals like those made by a mother rather than a new kitchen make one forget all about being a visitor and instead get become part of the environment.

Jongomero camp Ruaha

Jongamero camp
Jongomero camp is located in the remote south-western section of Ruaha National Park, on the banks of the seasonal Jongomero sand river. It is believed to be one of the best safari camps in East Africa.

Jongomero has got 8 large en-suite tents, which are filled with an opulent 8-foot wide emperor bed and minimalist though tasteful safari styling. The tents are all raised and extremely large thatched roofs help in offering the shade.

From your veranda or any of the communal areas, you can view games which are attracted throughout the year due to the presence of Sand River that has got some pools a grove of acacia and Ebony trees usually protects that areas which include; eating area, natural rock swimming pool and a bar.
